• Product Description

  The GPG is DeVilbiss's workhorse — a drop-forged aluminium gun built to do a wide range of jobs competently rather than one job perfectly, at a price that makes it easy to own several.

  It will spray enamels, synthetics, primers and 2-pack commercial paints without complaint. Most shops keep GPGs as dedicated primer guns, or as the gun that goes out on site where a DV1 would be an expensive thing to drop. Available in tip sizes up to 1.8mm, so it will move heavy primer that a finer gun will not.

  Formerly sold as the GPi.

  Supplied with the black poly cup — lighter and cheaper to replace than aluminium.

  Choosing your fluid tip

  As a rule of thumb: 1.0–1.2mm for clearcoat and light metallic basecoat, 1.3mm as the all-round bodyshop choice, 1.4mm for heavier basecoat and sealer, and 1.5mm and above for primer and high-build. If you are unsure, ring us — we would rather get it right first time than have you send it back.
