  Key features

  • Gauge at the gun — reads inlet pressure where the lacquer sees it, which is the number that determines how it breaks up
  • Repeatable clears — set it once and it holds, whatever else is running off the compressor
  • Atomisation tuned for flow-out — gloss rather than raw coverage
  • Wide usable window — more room between dry orange peel and running on the vertical
  • Less flatting afterwards — the finish comes off the gun closer to where you want it
  • C1+ and C2+ air caps — C1+ for everyday 2K clears, C2+ to move more material on higher-solids and larger panels

  Choosing your fluid tip and air cap

  As a rule of thumb: 1.0–1.2mm for clearcoat and light metallic basecoat, 1.3mm as the all-round bodyshop choice, 1.4mm for heavier basecoat and sealer. C1+ suits most 2K clears; C2+ moves more material for higher-solids clears and larger panels. If you are unsure, ring us — we would rather get it right first time than have you send it back.
